The idea had been on the minds of the RACEWERK skunkworks team for a while. And when the tedious task of perfecting the product in terms of design, mechanics and production had been achieved, it was time to give that idea a go: Colors.
What sounds like a small detail is in fact not all that simple. What makes the feat easier is the fact that the parts that are suitable for anodizing, the base, the slave cylinder, the pedal arm and the pedal plate, are all manufactured from billet aluminum by a nearby German metalworking company rather than from pressed aluminum or water cut steel. So material wise the pedals are uniquely suited to add some vibrant colors to the aspiring racers sim rig.
To not only offer colors for pedal sets, but to accommodate combinations of these colors to reflect racing team color schemes or the color scheme of a racing rig, we‘ll be offering to chose colors individually for three parts groups: base and slave cylinder, pedal arm and pedal plate.
The new custom color options will be offered as a dedicated line: Racewerk Custom. We are excited to announce that the launch of this new line will take place at the of the ADAC Simracing Expo at the Nurburgring in Germany, open to the public from September 17-19, 2021.
Racewerk is showcasing this new line as well as the full range of pedals we‘ve made a name for in the Simracing community. Enjoy test driving our pedals on two racing rigs and see the vibrant new touch we added for yourself!
